It’s that time of year again: It’s #jamuary 2024!
The stream upload was HORRIBLE this time. The picture is bad and the audio is bad. A Speedtest indicated I should have had plenty of bandwidth. I’m not sure what is going to get done about it. Even so, some music was made and there was a good chat among friends, and I’m reluctant to replace the stream because of the chat. I’ll let YouTube munch on what was cached, and possibly they’ll assemble something viewable sometime tomorrow. At anyrate, it’s all chaptered. So … enjoy?
[UPDATE: Turns out that my streaming encoder had silently lost its bitrate settings. The local copy was equally bad. So, this is as good as it’s going to be, folks. Sorry.]
jamuary is an idea by @truecuckoo that was picked up by many Musicians/Jammers because it’s just cool — like cuckoo. Every day in January we publish a jam. It can be quite short, it doesn’t have to be anything special. We just put our thoughts aside and start playing. We then upload this jam to our YouTube channels and tag it with the hashtag #jamuary2024.
