Jamuary 2024 Day Eleven

It’s that time of year again: #jamuary2024 eleventh day!

More fun with the new Native Instruments Kontrol S49 MkIII and Komplete, along with Ableton Live and my Sequential Take 5 and Arturia PolyBrute — in no particular order.

What’s up for today’s stream? MUCH less talking, for one thing. And droning with Take 5 overtones, it seems. A very chill evening, playing over the Quad drone, a new Reaktor synth, another sample from Jamuary 9, the PolyBrute, and probably something I’ve forgotten. I make liberal use of Take 5 distortion and towards the end, make some really angry noises with it. Enjoy!

jamuary is an idea by @truecuckoo that was picked up by many Musicians/Jammers because it’s just cool — like cuckoo. Every day in January we publish a jam. It can be quite short, it doesn’t have to be anything special. We just put our thoughts aside and start playing. We then upload this jam to our YouTube channels and tag it with the hashtag #jamuary2024.
