After a bit of a mis-start and other technical issues, I dive into Vital. There was originally a nice intro to wavetable synthesis. That got truncated. Sorry. If people want, I’ll come back to it. Or, watch Starsky Carr’s excellent explanation, linked below. Ableton Live also locked up, forcing me to reboot the computer, but I was able to generally pick up where I left off without restarting the stream … again … thanks to using an outboard stream encoder. Despite the technical issues, two presets did get built, so not all’s lost. One’s an interesting pad sound, the other a neat, simple pluck. They still need some finalizing, which we’ll do in a future livestream. Once done, I’ll make them available for download.
