For those who didn’t notice, I embarked upon a challenge in January to produce a music jam each day. In other words, 31 pieces of new music in 31 days. They didn’t have to be long. They didn’t have to be complete. They didn’t even have to be good. That wasn’t the point. The point was to make time every day to make music.
Today is Tuesday, the thirty-first day of #jamuary2023. This is it. One final jam. It is … over.
There will be more about the overall Jamuary2023 experience and my take-aways later. But not too much later, so stay tuned….
I started out with the idea to do a simple, space-ambient piece using one patch in a single “real-time” pass using the Korg Wavestate. That’s not what actually happened. Such is the way of a jam, I suppose.
The 20th day of #jamuary2023 marks my 60th trip around the sun, and again features the Korg opsix, Boss RC-3 looper, the Zoom G3n, and the Behringer Flow8 in a simple ambient jam.
On this nineteenth day of #jamuary2023, I get pretty trippy with the Korg opsix, the Boss rc-3, and effects from the Zoom g3n and Behringer Flow8 mixer/interface.
It’s the 15th of #jamuary2023! Mid-way-ish through the month, and time for a new synth to play with! We’ll be starting this week out with the Korg opsix altered FM synthesizer. And what a neat beast it is!
For day 14 of #jamuary2023, I had grandiose plans that were not to be. But still, there was jamming! And a new track with video!
It’s Friday! The 13th day of #jamuary2023! Today’s jam again features the Modal Electronics Cobalt 5S virtual analog synthesizer and, as always, the Zoom G3n multi-effects pedal.
