Tonight: New Augmented instrument from Arturia, more pondering about the Leviasynth, Bitwig plugin control mappings are da bomb (but modulation clips make me crazy), and software devs really need to think about user impacts when making key changes.

On the question of changing formats: I like that you have an agenda but are willing to go off topic based on what’s happening in the comments. I haven’t been able to view live for awhile (and that’ll remain the same until summer), but the combination of having the feel of a live show while also having a few topics you focus on makes a lot of sense, I think. I also like that you’ll pick up new developments in the synth world, but only the ones that interest you, which means the discussion remains genuine. So I suppose this is a vote for not changing the format. If you feel like it’s too much, then I think you could do one week is just a jam with no talking and then alternate that with a week that uses the current format. Maybe that’ll help you keep from burning out.
Thanks, Will! I think what I feel is “missing” is depth to many of the demo/tutorial segments. Maybe an idea is to keep Monday Music as it is, and try to find time to make/release some more in-depth semi-scripted videos as separate productions. I’ll probably still record them “as live” to reduce editing time and keep the semi-formal feeling of the “regular show.” That also has the advantage of the additional videos not being tied to a specific time slot and duration.
