A collection of snippets, explorations and works-in-progress made with the Teenage Engineering OP-Z and other parts of my “creation station” synth setup, including the Model Electronics Skulpt SE and Craft Synth 2.0, Elektron Model:Samples, and Arturia MicroFreak. These instruments, plus a small collection of outboard gear, will be the basis on which I begin to build my own music. Each piece has been selected to have a primary role, but of course, will ultimately be used in ways that I could not have envisioned when I purchased them. Such is the adventure of electronic music.
I must reiterate that this playlist is not intended to be anything more than an collection of examples and sketches — there is no pretense that any of this is “good” in any sense, except to illustrate some point made in a blog or forum posting.
