Hello. Today is Monday, the 30th day of #jamuary2023. Today again features the 1010Music nanabox LemonDrop for an industro-ambient take on the pan flute. What would Zamfir think?
There’s not really a whole lot to say about today’s little jam, except that I also used a fairly short loop in the Boss RC-3 again. There’s also a subtle glitch at the loop repeat point, and I’ve got the enhance settings in ozone 9 pushed pretty hard this time with short attacks and longish decays to accentuate the glitches and jitters that accompany the pan flute sample. The result is a few places where the track seems a little unstable, almost like the oxide coating is flaking of the tape here and there or the edges are getting worn.
#jamuary2023 is rapidly winding down — there’s only one more day left! It’s been an interesting experience, to say the least.

BTW, all the sounds come from just two patches — one on the lemondrop, and one on the Microfreak. The movement and variation with the granular synth is really fun.
